ANSW Road Relay Championships

Date: Saturday, August 4th, 2007 Start Time: First race 12.00 noon; Fun runs 1.00pm. Venue: Endeavour Drive, Wollongong Host: Kembla Joggers

This will be the FOURTH year Kembla Joggers have hosted the Athletics New South Wales Road Relays.

This very exciting event, run around the very scenic 2km loop of Endeavour Drive and lower Crown Street, has been the showpiece for Kembla Joggers in ANSW events and we obviously want to repeat that in 2007. Some of Australia’s best runners will be in action on the day.

There are races for all ages and abilities. Both male and female teams consist of four runners with the junior legs being 4 x 2km loops and the over 18s being 4 x 4km loops.

There is also a 2km & 4km funrun on the day at 1:00pm for any interested KJ runners & the general public.

Please, if you are not running volunteer to assist on the day. If we can get enough volunteers, job sharing for two hours is not too much to ask. Put this one down as one of your marshalling duties for the year. Please contact Dave Higgins 42841317 to assist.
